Corporation Rules & Expectations

“All things end. We decide when.”

The Abyssal Requiem [ARQM] Corporate Rules & Operational Guidelines

The Abyssal Requiem is a doctrine-focused corporation built around discipline, operational awareness, and long-term cohesion. These rules exist to maintain standards, reduce internal friction, and ensure every pilot contributes to the strength of the corporation.

Chain of Command & Leadership

  • Respect the Chain of Command: Fleet Commanders, Directors, and designated leadership are to be respected during operations.
  • No Backseat FC'ing: During fleets, arguments and backseat commanding are not acceptable.
  • Professional Feedback: Concerns or disagreements should be brought privately and professionally after the operation.

Fleet Participation Requirements

All pilots in ARQM are required to maintain fleet activity. The requirement is 1.5 fats per character each month for every character inside the corporation.

Fleet requirements are calculated across all characters in ARQM and are rounded down to the nearest whole number. Multi-boxing does not exempt pilots from participation requirements.

Characters in ARQM Required Fats per Month
1 Character 1 Fat
2 Characters 3 Fats
3 Characters 4 Fats
4 Characters 6 Fats
  • Valid Fleets: Coalition, alliance, home defense, strategic, and approved corporation fleets all count unless otherwise stated by leadership.
  • Accountability: Repeated failure to meet activity requirements without communication may result in removal from the corporation or movement to a secondary corporation.

Doctrine & Operational Readiness

  • Doctrine Compliance is Mandatory: If a doctrine fit is posted, fly the doctrine fit. “Close enough” is not doctrine compliant. Unauthorized fit changes must be approved by FCs or leadership.
  • Know Your Role: Pilots are expected to understand the role of their ship before joining fleets.
  • Maintain Readiness: Keep doctrine ships staged appropriately and maintain required clones, implants, and fittings.
  • Comms Setup: Have Discord and alliance auth systems configured and functional. Be able to respond to pings in a reasonable timeframe when online.

Defense & Security

  • Home Defense Comes First: If alliance or coalition space is threatened and a home defense ping goes out, members are expected to prioritize defensive operations when possible. Protecting staging systems, infrastructure, and coalition assets is a core responsibility.
  • Protect Corporate & Alliance Security: Do not share internal pings, doctrines, bookmarks, comms, or operational information outside authorized channels.
  • Zero Tolerance: Spying, theft, awoxing, or intentionally harming the corporation results in immediate removal. Use discretion when discussing coalition operations publicly.

Conduct & Communication

  • No Internal Drama: Keep personal conflicts out of corp operations. Public arguments, harassment, excessive toxicity, or constant negativity damage morale and weaken the group. Disagreements happen; handle them like adults.
  • Represent ARQM Properly: When wearing the ARQM ticker, do not intentionally damage diplomatic relations. Avoid local chat meltdowns and unnecessary smack talk. Conduct yourself professionally in coalition spaces and public communities.
  • Use Comms Properly: During combat operations, comms discipline is mandatory. Keep unnecessary chatter off command comms during engagements. Priority comms belong to FCs, scouts, cynos, and logistics.

Finance & Support

  • Be Self-Sufficient: Members are expected to work toward financial independence. Pilots are responsible for maintaining their own income streams and replacing losses when necessary.
  • SRP & Corporate Assistance: Ship Replacement Program requests are handled case-by-case unless otherwise specified by the FC team or leadership. SRP may be denied for negligence, ignoring FC instructions, preventable losses, or unauthorized fits. Abuse of corp assistance programs may result in removal from those programs.

Growth & Advancement

  • Accountability Matters: Mistakes happen. Own them. Learn from losses instead of making excuses. Pilots who repeatedly ignore instructions, fail to improve, or create avoidable losses may lose access to fleets or corporate resources.
  • Recruitment Standards: Help maintain the corporation culture. Do not recruit pilots known for drama, espionage, scamming allies, or consistently disruptive behavior without leadership approval. Quality pilots are preferred over large inactive numbers.
  • Promotion & Advancement: Advancement within ARQM is based on reliability, fleet participation, communication, mechanical competence, initiative, cultural fit, and the ability to operate independently. Skill points alone do not earn trust or responsibility. Consistency and performance do.

Expectations for Transition Pilots

For pilots transitioning from The Silent Overture or The Phantom’s Symphony:

  • ARQM operates under higher expectations.
  • Strategic discipline and accountability become more important.
  • Independence and consistency are expected.
  • Every pilot represents the corporation during operations.

Operational Philosophy

ARQM does not operate as a casual social holding corporation. We are a strategic organization focused on discipline, coordination, readiness, long-term growth, effective force projection, and meaningful fleet participation. Fleets carry strategic weight. Decisions affect the group, not just the individual.

Real Life Comes First

Burnout helps nobody. If you need time away, communicate with leadership. Inactivity without communication for extended periods may result in removal to maintain roster accuracy.

Final Note

The Abyssal Requiem is built around long-term pilots who value discipline, coordination, and meaningful operations over temporary convenience.

We are not here to appear powerful. We are here to become difficult to remove.

All things end. We decide when.
